It was time for Justine, Ernesto, and their bridal party to make their entrance. They all came in dancing to songs like “Finesse” and “Morning Light.” This, of course, was followed by their first dance “Forever Mine” by The O’Jays. (Ernesto LOVES his Old School and Motown!)
After their delicious dinner, some quick table visits, and three sentimental parent and sibling dances, it was time to let this party turn loose! The guests were ready to flock the dance floor, which at Bella Vista Groves, is a cement circle located in the center of the grassy table area.
After a quick “Cake Break,” Justine and Ernesto decided to have a little contest. It was time for “who can make the most money during the money dance?” Chris, Ernesto’s best man, and Janae, Justine’s Maid of Honor, held mason jars and headed up each line. I’m not supposed to be bias, but I was watching Justine’s jar fill up with some large bills. I think she dusted her new husband this round.
Such a great night could only be topped off with a high-energy after-party. The guests forgot all about the chilly April weather and found the dance floor was hotter than the heat lamps. They danced to Hip-Hop, Oldies, Top-40, Spanish, and of course…lots of Ernesto’s Old School! It was the party these two had been dreaming of since before we met. It was my pleasure to be a small part of making that happen!
