The reception was held in the Art Garden at the Brea Community Center. This little courtyard was a perfect fit not only for the guests but Robin and Jordan’s personality as well. Speaking of personality, have you ever seen such a cool and unique cake topper as the one pictured. (Their wedding vows even included Star Wars references.) After speeches and a delicious meal, Jordan, who is not a man of many words, graciously thanked their friends, family, and even vendors for making this evening possible. He and Robin then shared their first dance as husband and wife.
The November night air was cold, but we heated the place up by getting everyone out to the dance floor. Ronnie put together a masterful mix of old and new music that everyone was loving. When it was time to take a break for some cake, Robin and Jordan entertained their guests by playing The Shoelywed Game. (A game where the bride and groom try to guess who best fits the question being asked by raising his or her shoe in the air. As you can see, the answer is not always clear!)
The guests enjoyed the music, the dancing, even the selfie opportunities during the Money Dance! When all was said and done, Robin and Jordan were all smiles as they realized all of their hard work in putting their wedding together was a success. It was such a pleasure getting to know these two over the past year, and I am so happy I got to be a part of their wedding day.
