Cassandra & John’s Wedding – Saturday, October 12th 2019

Just a BIG PARTY! That was exactly what Cassandra and John wanted for their Wedding After Party at her parent’s home in Agua Dulce. Cassandra and John were actually married in Colorado on Wednesday of this week. The ceremony in the mountains was the “selfishly us” part of the whole experience as they described it. The party…that was for everyone else. However, it was important to Cassandra and John to weave their story into this backyard reception so their friends and families can all experience their next great adventure together.

Once the guests (and bridal party) were fully assembled, the Grand Entrance was underway. Cassandra and John stuck to tradition and wore their same outfits from the ceremony. They shared a first dance and after a few sentimental toasts, it was Taco Time! (Everyone was excited for the taco guy making the best smelling (and tasting) food around. After dinner, we had the tables holding hands and coming out en mass to the dance floor. The packed floor was only a precursor to what was to come later in the evening.

After Cassandra and John cut their wedding cake, and the guests were allowed to finally dig into the cupcake display, the guests were treated to a five minute video recap of the wedding ceremony. With their story now complete, it was time for everyone to dance, celebrate, and eat some more. The party kept going until it was finally time to wind things down. We gathered up everyone at the party to form a circle of love around Cassandra and John. After that, a few “bonus” songs played, and the entire crowd danced. We had a little bit of time left before they wanted to turn the music off, so we switched to a great classic rock set (at a lower volume), and the guests left kept on singing and swaying to the music. It was a great ending to such a perfect day.
