Lynnette & Danny’s Wedding – September 9th 2018

For all those romantics out there who believe in “if you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever,” I’ve got a story for you. Lynnette and Danny grew up just blocks away from each other. They met and started dating in high school. As their lives took different paths after graduation, they parted ways, but somehow they knew that was not the end. Sure enough, years later they reconnected and fell back in love. Two years later, they brought all of their friends and family together to Reptacular Ranch for the celebration of their marriage.

Just a couple of months after I met Lynnette and Danny, I received a call that Reptacular Ranch had burned down in the brush fires that swept through Sylmar. We all thought they were going to have to start all over looking for a venue again, but Cory, who runs the ranch, decided to rebuild it bigger and better than before. The new Reptacular is an AMAZING venue just perfect for those looking for a place to host an outdoor party. Lynnette and Danny also brought Ceara and her crew from CMM Photography to join their wedding team. Ceara not only takes amazing photos, but she coordinated the wedding, had a team that handled the décor and set-up, AND had a photo booth for everyone’s enjoyment. (Especially the kids who ran around with the props all night.) Hector from Milan Pepper Films was on hand to capture all of this madness on video and even had a drone flying overhead. With this team, there was no way Lynnette and Danny could have anything less than a perfect wedding night.

Their first dance was the beautiful: “Only You Can Love Me This Way” by Keith Urban. Dinner was a delicious BBQ from Stone Fire. After that, it was party time! The temperature dipped down just enough that there was no holding the wedding guests back from the dance floor. Even Grandma in her wheelchair couldn’t be kept from getting in on the fun!

As the night went on, their guests had the option to enjoy S’mores over by the fire pits, jump in the photo booth, enjoy a Margarita, play some Jenga or Cornhole, or, of course, dance. And dance they did…all night until it was time to go home.  It was so much fun partying with all these great people, and I’m happy to add Lynnette and Danny to my list of happy friends.
